There is space for a single camp bed in the domes. If you are looking to book for 5 guests, please book up to 4 guests on our website and put that a 5th guest will be attending in the booking notes.
Food is key to your enjoyment. Each dome includes a microwave oven, toaster, kettle & Nespresso machine. There is also a gas BBQ outside on the terrace which has an oven lid, an inbuilt Thermometer, and a full set of utensils. 4 sets of Cutlery, Crockery and Glassware are included. We also provide a chopping board, bottle opener and cocktail shaker. We do not include any sharp knives for safety reasons, so recommend you bring these if you are looking to do some cooking from scratch. There are no pots or pans either.
The gas BBQs include unlimited gas usage for your stay. The bottles are pre-installed and the BBQs have electric igniters ready for instant use. We also provide a spare bottle stored at each dome should you run out.
Each dome has a modern twin wall insulated log burner which is used as the primary heat source. The burner will have a pre-constructed wood arrangement ready for you to light upon arrival. We also have a handy instruction video here. We use eco-friendly sawdust logs and supply twice the amount of average use for each night of your stay. Each dome also includes an electric heater that can be used to take the chill off overnight. The bathrooms are heated with infrared heating. Beyond heating you will also find some blankets and hot water bottles inside the dome.
Not at all. We provide enough wood for twice the average amount required per night of your stay. If you are staying longer than 3 nights we can also top this up. In case of extremely rare circumstances, we do have more wood, firelighters and matches available to purchase if required.
Absolutely. We preheat all of our hot tubs for guest arrival days. As they are wood fired they will require further attendance by yourself on arrival to check whether they need further heating. Full instructions are provided. If the tub is too hot, we also have a cold tap and drainage option for a quick cool down to the desired temperature.
In the height of summer it can get quite hot in the UK. As the domes are fully insulated they are often much cooler than outside. Each dome also has an electric ventilation fan and a tower fan to help with the heat. On extremely hot days our staff will draw the curtains ahead of your stay to keep the dome inside at a nice agreeable temperature, ready for your arrival.
The domes sleep up to 4 people across 2 king size beds. The second bed is located in the mezzanine above the kitchen and changing area, accessible by a ladder. If you are a family of 5 and wish for a 5th person to stay we are happy for you to bring a camp bed for the 5th person at no extra charge. We do not supply camp bed or single size linen. Please note there is only room for a single size bed in the dome which can be placed behind the kitchen and changing area.
The domes are designed with couples and families in mind. Inside you will find a large bean bag with footstool and a 2-seater table dinette. Outside we provide a table and seating for 4 people with a parasol cover. We also supply 2 lounge outdoor armchairs with a drinks table. The hot tub cupboards are also designed for basic seating too.
Each dome includes parking for 1 car however we have a very large overflow car park for up to 40 cars, which is also suitable for motorhomes
As the domes are situated far into the surrounding lands of Hoath House, electricity capacity is limited. We do have a designated charging point that is available close to the main house. This is approximately 350 metres walk from the furthest dome and 50 metres to the closest dome
Absolutely. We provide vegan friendly biscuits as standard in the domes as well as a milk alternative. For decaf, please select this as a free option during the checkout phase of booking online.
As a fully self-catering site there isn’t a prepared food establishment at present. However, you can book one of our wonderful food boxes to be delivered to your dome on arrival of your stay. This can be ordered during the booking phase on our website or by logging in through your client portal once you have booked. There are also plenty of amazing pubs and restaurants local to the dome, with some that deliver fresh food throughout certain seasons of the year, such as The Rock Pub which is only a 20-minute walk from the domes.
